Product Packaging Training to Provide Product Added Value to the Fatayat NU Women's Group

Currently, the Fatayat NU Women's Group in Pamoroh Village, Kadur District, Pamekasan Regency is developing products such as ecoprint batik, dried herbal chili, powdered herbal chili, and macrame. The products being worked are environmentally friendly products and have the potential to become a leading commodity in Pamekasan Regency. So far, the product packaging has only been wrapped in plastic without any labels or ingredient composition, which means that the product packaging does not meet standards. Good packaging that meets standards is one of the efforts to add value and attract consumer interest. Therefore, the PKM team is conducting community service activities in the form of product packaging training to add value to the products. The method of implementing this service includes counseling and training. The results of the community service activities conducted shows that 95.35% of the group members understand and have begun to apply proper product packaging, which includes labeling the product name for each of the products, namely ecoprint batik, dried herbal chili, powdered herbal chili, and macrame. A high level of enthusiasm from the group members was demonstrated by their active participation during the extension session; out of a total of 20 members present, around 16 individuals or 80% engaged actively in discussions with the implementation team of the service.
